The museum has opened and there are plenty of good reasons to visit. The Pittsburg Historical Museum hosts a vast collection of artifacts, historical photos, documents, maps and reference books. Of special interest to our visitors are Camp Stoneman, F.E. Booth Cannery, the Los Medanos Hotel, the Black Diamond Mines, U.S. Steel, and our Sister Cities Isola delle Femmine, Sicily and Yahualica, Jalisco, Mexico among others.
